How-to-Guide: Installing Film Guards & Screen Protector Films

We understand that installing screen protectors can be a bit tricky for some folks. But
no fear...we're here to help you out!

Here are general instructions on how to install screen protector films (which are applicable for most films, including the ones that we sell):

Film Guards & Screen Protector Films
- General Installation Instructions:

Step #1:

Clean LCD screen/surface with the cleaning cloth thoroughly. Be sure to
wipe away any dirt or dust away thoroughly before you begin to apply the
screen protector film.

Step #2:

Expose 1/2 of the 1st protective backing/mask, and be careful not to
touch the adhesive side of the screen protector. This protective
backing/mask is usually also clear and has a tab/sticker/flag attached
to it, and the screen protector film is the most rigid and thick part.
Carefully align the screen protector film with the upper edge of the LCD
display screen, and adhere the exposed portion of the screen protector
film onto the LCD display screen. If your device has a glass
surface that extends beyond the actual LCD display screen, it would be
easier to apply the screen protector film with the LCD display screen
turned on.

Step #3:

Use a solid card, such as a credit card, to press the screen protector
film onto the LCD display screen's surface. Gently and steadily
press the screen protector film as you adhere the remaining portion, and
again, using a solid card to press the screen protector film onto the
surface.

Step #4:

By now, you should have completely attached the adhesive side of the screen
protector film onto the surface with the 1st protective backing/mask
removed. You can now peel off the 2nd protective backing/mask from
the actual screen protector film.

Step #5:

Pat yourself on the back for a job well done: your screen protector film
is now installed!
